Mortgage burning - July 12, 2022
First Christian Church held a burning of the church mortgage at Noon on Sunday, July 13. This was followed by a fellowship potluck. The church was established in 1886 and has been in Jonesboro for 135 years.
The church was land locked on Main Street and sold. A new church was built in 2012. The mortgage was paid off in June 2021 from loyal, generous donors and member contributions. The celebration will be held outside on the lawn. All are welcome! Call the church office for more information.
